The Cox (Orange Pippin) is the quintessential old English apple variety. Our Cox apple trees produce red flushed apples with a slight russeting that can vary to green on the shaded side of the apple. Their flavour is intensely aromatic and slightly subacidic with hints of cherry and anise that becomes milder the riper the apples are. They have a relatively crisp and juicy texture.
Our trees are 60 years old and are compact and easy to pick.
Blossom is usually seen in April/May with the apples ripening to harvest in September/October depending on the weather conditions throughout the growing season. Cox apples store very well so can be enjoyed at least two months after picking if stored correctly.

The apple tree rental starts from the date of purchase and will continue until the apples are picked (date dependent on growing season).
We offer a 7 day refund policy. Therefore, if you would like to cancel your apple tree rental within 7 days of purchase you are entitled to a full refund.
